A Healthy Vegan Dressing Breastfeeding
This dressing / dip recipe is a great fall indulgence. It is healthy, nutritious and delicious.
the ingredients are very simple.
You will need:
3 Medjool dates
1/2 – 1 persimmon
1/2 – 1 zucchini
2-4 tbsp of hemp seeds
1-3 tbsp Organic PB Powder (or peanut butter)
water
Spiralize the zucchini. I use this spiralizer for the noodles.
And a blendtek for the dressing.
blend
It is a very fast recipe fit for busy moms. I am a full time working and a full time stay at home mom so you can imagine that I don’t have time for complicated recipes.
I do blend and steam but let’s be honest- I mostly eat raw. I eat raw for a few reasons.
1. California is warm and there is an abundance of fresh delicious produce here at all times.
2. I feel far better when I eat a lot of raw.
3. Raw saves me time and it allows me to eat healthy even on days when I am overwhelmed with tasks. It is basically already “cooked” in nature so it saves me time and I don’t have to eat prepackaged junk food or spend hours in the kitchen.
This recipe is good as a dip for apples or as a dressing for veggies. When I dip apples in it I also add vanila or cinnamon.
If it is for veggies I make it spicy and I add vinegar to it.
I was craving something sweet that day that’s why I basically opted for the sweet flavor.
Aleppo Pepper is if you ask me superior to all other mildly hot pepper varieties. It is imported from Turkey as far as I know. Aleppo in Syria is obviously war torn sadly. Anyways if you have never tried them I do recommend them – they are raisin reminiscent sweet and flavorful, salty and oily naturally. I feel like I am a coffee connoisseur except a pepper connoisseur 🙂 . It is also super crazy red.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this dip and let me know if you want me to share more of these recipes.
I am never sure if the things I enjoy are at all delicious to other people… or I am just weird haha
Love to you all
