pavia worjshop schedule final

I am SUPER EXCITED to see you there. Cannot wait!!!

Ok INTERVAL YOGA WORKSHOP PAVIA goers smile emoticon
I have news about accomodations for your staying here.

Hotel Riz ( has given us a special deal.

These are the prices: 68 single, 88 double and 108 triple occupancy.
This rates include taxes and breakfast.

Reservations have to be made by you at mentioning you are with the YOGA WORKSHOP group. You need to give a credit card as guarantee even if you pay cash on site.

If you want to share a room with a workshop participant, you will have to talk to him or her before making the reservations. Meaning it’s totally up to you to choose your roomate and reserve together. The hotel will not match you up. But you can do it through this chat line.

This discount option is valid until August 19, so if you know you are coming you better go ahead and register by that time. They do not guarantee prices or rooms after that. The hotel is pretty large but half booked already.Still have 50 rooms empty and waiting for us.

The hotel, which is about 15 minutes from Pavia city center by car, provides some shuttle service which is almost to no use to us, but I am posting the schedule anyhow right now. you never know.

7:15 8:00 8:45 9:30
18 19 20 21

18;30 19:30 20:30 21:30

If you are flying, the easiest is to fly into Linate airport, with say Alitalia or other major airlines. From Linate there is a direct bus to Pavia. You can see bus info and schedules here

If you arrive to other airports in Milan (Ryanair flies to Bergamo Orio al Serio and Easyjet to Malpensa), you will have to catch a bus to Milan train station and then a train to Pavia.
So if you are not a traveler, take a regular flight to Linate airport and then grab a bus to Pavia. Mid September is low cost in Italy so the plane tickets will not be as expensive.

If you are taking a train to Milan, then take another one to Pavia which is
only about 40 minutes away.

you can grab a cab (about 20 euros) to the hotel, or you can take a public bus, which stops one block away from The RIz.

The Pavia Bus Terminal is walking distance from the train station.

From the Hotel you can again grab a taxi, which the hotel will gladly call for you, or take the same bus. That is a cheaper option, although once workshop goers arrive you can all share a cab and the 20E will be divided with the people who share a cab with you.

If you want to take a bus, this is the bus schedule

ok. when you want to go back to the hotel from here, you can either catch a bus back to the hotel, which is a very easy option, or call and share a taxi.

We are setting up two 20 E fixed vegan menus at the restaurant by the Riz for Friday and Saturday nights. They will include a pizza and pasta option, on top of salad and fresh fruit, and a gluten free option.

These meals are optional, but they are a nice gathering and chat option. If you stay at the Riz and you didn’t bring food with you, this may be your best bet. If you are interested in the restaurant meal, please let me know.

If you are staying somewhere else, like close to the Pavia train station, you can take the same bus as everyone else to get to the yoga room, so this would be your schedule

or grab a taxi

Here are two contacts for radiotaxi in the city

–Pavia RADIOTAXI 0382 576576
–Taxi Radio Pavese 0382 577733

When you call, there will be an answering machine asking you your final destination. If you dont speak italian, just say BORNASCO, which is the town where the yoga room is.

Full address of Anahata Yoga is Via Trento 57A, 27010 Bornasco (PV)

which is also where I live smile emoticon

Those who are staying at the Riz can share a taxi here and back to Pavia
Those who are staying somewhere else may find someone to share during the workshop.

Ok, here is the lowdown.

Of course if workshop participants who have a car would be so kind to take some of you back to the hotel or the station we can also do car pooling. let us know if you will come by car and can share a ride!

Whatever happens, know you are not going to be left stranded in the middle of nowhere.I will give my cell phone to participants so they can call me or my husband in case of need.

If you come to the workshop please print this info and take it with you on the day you come so you wont be struggling for schedules and other important information.

Ok, so this is all there is about transportation and hotel accomodation
if you have any question, please post it here after reading this very well so everybody can benefit from your answers.

Ah! Cash Machine! There is one cash machine in town, and several cash machines around Pavia in case you need to get some money.

Having said this, I reassure you it sounds you much harder than what it actually is and that you will be nearly hand guided. Mauro Sau will be staying at the Riz. He also speaks Italian so he can help you coordinate with takes or buses. And I will be here.

Ok! This is all soooo exciting! We can finally meet Ali, practice together!
