A Mala is a strand of 108 beads, plus a guru stone, traditionally used for counting during mantra meditations, and have been used as a meditation aid since at least the 10th century.

This mala is intentionally and  lovingly handknotted of high quality 108- 6mm multi color Tourmaline beads, a Rainbow Labradorite Guru bead and a hand made cotton tassel. It has all the vibrations and healing properties of the black, green, and red tourmaline! Length about 20 in., lightweight, ideal for mantra chanting and meditation.

Tourmaline comes in many shades and colors, all with their own wonderful, special properties. Both green and pink/purple Tourmaline are excellent stones for the heart. It is said that green Tourmaline is the yang counterpart of the pink yin shade. Therefore the green variety enhances vitality, strength, courage and stamina, while the pink shade promotes compassion, love, gentleness and spiritual growth. The black and brown shades are strongly grounding and protective. An interesting fact about Tourmaline is that it becomes electrically charged by rubbing it. The colors and qualities all compliment each other beautifully in this powerful Mala!

Labradorite is considered as a stone of magic, awakening within you mystical and magical abilities. It has within it a deeply felt resonance that is very powerful, and it can be used to bring amazing changes to your life.
This is a stone whose energy is quite visible to the user, as it just seems to work so quickly. Wearing it just seems to charge you with a sense of excitement and adventure, to take the steps required to go where you have not gone before!

* All jewelry is handmade by me with care and love in my home studio using the finest gems and highest quality materials. All necklaces and bracelets are cleansed and charged with love energy, good intention, compassion and blessings.
