End of Summer Sunset Smoothie, Raw Vegan for a Week, Day Two

by Tina

This smoothie turned out so much better than expected! My favorite way to start the day is by eating fresh ripe fruits, as much as I care for. This has not been the case though coming from a diet fearing fruits and natural sugars. Since I discovered how and why a high fruit low fat diet actualy works ther is a world of abundance before me, truely, it is just amazing …

Today’s raw challenge is not much of a challenge. This sweet, delicious End of Summer Sunset Smoothie is the raw meal you will be consuming as part of this 7 day Raw Vegan try out.

Ingredients for 1 serving,

  • 1 cup of frozen mango
  • 1 cup of frozen blueberries or blackberries
  • 2 large ripe bananas, spotty
  • vanilla powder, optional
  • cinnamon

Blend the mango, 1/2 tsp. of vanilla powder and one large banana until creamy. This is your first layer in your glas. Now blend the berries, 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon and the second banana until smooth and gently pour or scoop it on top of the gorgeous orange layer. I topped it with some dried mulberries and a few fresh blackberries. Njoy!
